Stephen Degiorgio is a teacher and is currently finalising his doctorate on the history of Malta. For the last 25 years he has researched the Archives of the Order of St. John held at the National Library of Malta. He is the author of a book about Antoine de Favray and has published a number of articles and monographs related to Maltese history.
